# How is the Estimated Time Saved calculated in the Statistics overview?

The **Statistics Overview** in SlideHub shows you how your team really uses the library: what gets downloaded, who is engaging with it, and what people search for. **Estimated Time Saved** is one of those measures, helping you understand the time your team has saved over the last six months by using SlideHub. This estimate is also visualized in a **monthly breakdown graph** for a more detailed view.

### How do we calculate estimated hours saved?

We estimate time savings by calculating the number of assets downloaded or actions taken in SlideHub and comparing that to the time it would typically take to manually find or create those same assets, or perform those same actions, without SlideHub.

###### Platform statistics used for the calculation:

The minutes in the table are estimates we apply, not measurements taken from your team. Each one stands for the time someone would typically have spent finding, rebuilding or reformatting that asset by hand without SlideHub.

| Action | *Estimated time saved per asset / action - minimum-maximum (in minutes) | Average time saved per asset / action (in minutes) |
| ---- |
| The number of company slide downloads | 5 - 15 | 10 |
| The number of company template downloads | 2 - 4 | 3 |
| The number of company image downloads | 2 - 4 | 3 |
| The number of company icon downloads | 2 - 4 | 3 |
| The number of company Word document downloads | 5 - 15 | 10 |
| The number of company Excel sheet downloads | 5 - 15 | 10 |
| The number of text snippet downloads | 2 - 4 | 3 |
| The number of inspiration slide downloads | 5 - 15 | 10 |
| The number of standard icon, flag, and logo downloads | 2 - 4 | 3 |
| The number of Unsplash image downloads | 2 - 4 | 3 |
| The number of illustration downloads | 2 - 4 | 3 |
| Dynamic actions, including: replace icon, replace image, swap shapes, start new presentation (open company template) and version control | 0,5 - 1 | 0,75 |

###### How do we estimate time savings per asset / action?

For each action, we estimate the **minimum and maximum** time (in minutes) it would typically take to complete without SlideHub. We then multiply these values by the number of times that action was performed. To generate the graph, we also calculate an **average time per action** and apply the same multiplication.

* The **larger overview** displays the **range of minimum and maximum time saved**, offering a more comprehensive view of the past six months' estimated time savings. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/9d091a3f3b772000/group-6409_1e8imaz.png =340x126)
* The **monthly graph** in the Statistics Overview shows the **average estimated time saved per month, **providing a clearer monthly overview to help you better track usage. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/9d091a3f3b772000/group-6410_1c633vj.png =340x126)

We hope this feature helps you better track the direct impact of SlideHub on your team’s workflow - saving valuable time and boosting efficiency.

### What else the Statistics overview tells you

Time saved is only one part of the picture. The same Statistics tab is also where you decide what to update, retire or promote:

* **Activity Per Type** and **Asset Specific Activity** show what is actually being used and by whom, so you can see which assets are worth keeping current and which have gone quiet.
* **User Activity** shows where engagement is rising or falling, so you know which teams need a nudge or some support.
* **Search Performance** shows what your team searches for and which searches returned no results, so you can close the gaps in the library.
