# How to create Text Snippets?

Save time and share standard copy and text (such as terms and conditions and company description) across PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. 

Text snippets are owned and updated in one place, so when approved wording like your terms and conditions changes, you edit it once and everyone who uses it from then on picks up the current version. They are labelled with the same categories and subcategories as the rest of your library, so colleagues can find the approved wording instead of rewriting it from memory.

### Follow the step-by-step guide to create text snippets

**1) Go to** [**manage view**](https://ppt.slidehub.io/#/manage/company-slides/company/) **and click on the** [**"Text Snippets" tab**](https://ppt.slidehub.io/#/manage/company-texts/company/)**. Here you'll have an overview of all your text snippets if you have any**

**2) To create a new one, click on "Add New"**

**3) Add and format your text, and make sure to give it a clear title so your colleagues can find it easily and then click on "Continue"**

**4) Click on "Continue". Select the relevant categories and subcategories, and then click "Save & continue". That's it!**

**To use them, simply click on the copy button to copy the text and then just insert it with Ctrl+V or right click on the mouse and select "Paste"**
