2-step verification not working

Have you lost access to your Authenticator App?

If you are having issues logging into your library account with for example Google or Microsoft Authenticator, because you have a new device please write account manager to reset your QR code and set it up again.

The account manager can reset your QR code so you can re-link to it on your smartphone.

Please refer to this article if you are an administrator looking to enable two-step verification or reset a user's QR code

Is the Authenticator giving you the message Invalid Code?

Please check if the numbers are correctly entered.
Or check if the code is taken from the correct “SlideHub” entry in the list.
If it still gives an issue, this may be because the time is not correctly synced on your Authenticator app.

The following instructions are an example using Google Authenticator. The steps may vary depending on the authenticator app you are using.

**For Android Devices (Google Authenticator)**

To set the correct time:
On your Android device, go to the main menu of the Authenticator app.
Tap More More and then Settings and then Time correction for codes and then Sync now.
On the next screen, the app confirms the time has been synced.

You should be able to sign in. The sync will only affect the internal time of your Authenticator app, and will not change your device's Date & Time settings.

For iPhone Devices (Google Authenticator)

To set the correct time:
Launch the Authenticator app
Go to the main menu
Tap Settings
Tap Time correction for codes
Tap Sync now
