How to connect MCP (Claude and ChatGPT) with SlideHub?

The MCP Connectors Settings have to be enabled in the SlideHub account first by going to API/MCP Settings. As an admin, you can also control whether everyone or only the admins in the account should have access to SlideHub MCP. The log listed in the Settings provides the details on who has used the MCP.




For now, you can connect both Claude and ChatGPT so that you can find, generate and reuse slides that you have in SlideHub library directly within the MCP without switching applications.


For Claude


  1. Once in Claude, click on 'Customize' and select 'Connectors' and 'Add custom connector'


  1. Type the URL: https://ppt.slidehub.io/api/mcp/slidehub and clicked 'Add' to add the custom connector.



Later on, it would be possible to directly add the SlideHub connector in Claude and ChatGPT's connector store for quicker installation.
  1. Click on 'Authorize' to grant permission to connect SlideHub with Claude.


  1. Click on the SlideHub connector and choose 'Always allow' for Tool permissions.

  1. You can then begin to search for your company slides and generate slides directly in Claude.



For ChatGPT


  1. Go to ChatGPT and naviagte to Settings


  1. Select Apps and choose 'Add more'


  1. Fill out the New App form as below and click on 'Create'


  1. Once the connector is ready, click on the plus sign in the prompt box, click on 'More' and select the SlideHub connector


  1. You can then begin to search for your company slides and generate slides directly in ChatGPT.
