How to enable two-step verification and reset QR codes?
By default two-step verification is disabled. To enable two-step verification for your account, simply go to Account > Security, and you'll find the option there.
Please note. When users switch from Account A to Account B, and then log back into Account A, your original 2FA setup for Account A remains active. You can simply continue using account A verification codes from your authenticator app without needing to set it up again.
How to reset a QR code if access to the authenticator app has been lost?
As the account manager, you can reset your own QR code or reset it for other users so it can be re-linked on a smartphone.
Steps to Reset a QR Code
- Navigate to the individual user's profile settings.
- Under the Permissions Table, click the "Reset QR Code" button.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear reminding you to inform the user that they will need to scan a new QR code.
What Happens Next
Once the user logs in again, they will automatically be prompted with the QR code scanning screen to re-link their account with an authenticator app.
