How to get started with my SlideHub Asset Platform Account as an Admin?

You can watch this video and find in detail all of the things you can do for your team:

1) Determine what would be most important for you and your company

Consider defining a success goal for your company. This could be getting x number of users to download slides or increasing brand consistency in your presentations. Having a success goal allows you to track if the product delivers value.

Pro-tip: Feel free to reach out to CS if you need input on implementation. We have done it hundreds of times before.

2) Log into your account as Manager or Account Owner.

If you already have an account, make sure you have Manager or Account Manager permissions, this will allow you to set up your company account faster.

3) Upload company slides for your teammates to use

As a manager you most likely have great content - this could be sales presentations, proposals, or a repository of best-practice slides. We suggest you add these slides to the “Company Slides”. This way your teammates will start from great on-brand slides they can find directly in PowerPoint. You can see how to do this HERE

Pro-tip: Do this in batches so your team members get value from the start

4) Set up your inspiration colors

Inspiration slides help your team members save time by using pre-made slides. They start from 80% done instead of starting from scratch. To help speed this up, you can determine the colors the inspiration slides have when inserted into the presentation. You can see more details in this link. Link to article that shows how to do this

Pro-tip: Switch on your colors and test to see how it looks

5) Determine users' permissions:

Not everyone will have the same permissions or roles as you. Select what each user will be able to see once they are inside of SlideHub. The below guide gives a brief introduction to each role.

Member: Will not edit or manage design or financial information. Just make use of the libraries and can use the design service if it's available.
Platform Only: Will not edit or manage design or financial information. Just make use of the libraries, but doesn't have access to the design service.
Accountant: Will see financial and billing information but will have no say over design material.
Gatekeeper: Will manage design content, but not financial information or handle users.
Manager: Has control to manage and see everything. Cannot delete the Account Owner.
Account Owner: Has all permissions.

You can learn more about this here.

6) Manage Images

You can add images from your own library or allow users to search among our Image Inspiration Library. You can see how to do this by clicking here.ttps://help.slidehub.io/en-us/article/how-to-manage-companys-images-wnyb6q/)
Pro-tip: Use tags for images so they are easier to find.

7) Icons and Illustrations

Just like with images, you can select which Illustrations and icons match your company’s guidelines best. You can even upload your own icons. If you wish to do this, we suggest you read this article.

Pro-tip: Allow full access early to allow users to test and limit access if team members go off-brand

8) Teams

Build teams and edit content for each one of them. This will allow you to have more control and manage material for different goals. If you would like to know more, we suggest you read this article.

9) Deploy it to your company

Create an onboarding strategy so that your company can start using SlideHub right away. We suggest using our IT Deployment methodology to save time. You can read more about it here.

Additionally, don't forget that you can use SSO (Single Sign On) to keep users in your SlideHub account synched with your organization's database.
