How to connect MCP (Claude and ChatGPT) with SlideHub?

SlideHub is sales content management for companies that sell using Microsoft 365. The MCP connector lets an AI assistant search the approved content in your SlideHub library and work from it, so what comes back is based on assets your organisation already owns and maintains rather than invented from scratch.


The MCP Connectors Settings have to be enabled in the SlideHub account first by going to API/MCP Settings. As an admin, you can also control whether everyone or only the admins in the account should have access to SlideHub MCP. The log listed in the Settings provides the details on who has used the MCP. Because the connector reads from your SlideHub library, what an assistant works with is content your organisation has already approved and maintains.




For now, you can connect both Claude and ChatGPT so that you can search and reuse the approved content you have in your SlideHub library directly within the MCP without switching applications. Once you have found the right content, you can build on it from there.


For Claude


  1. Once in Claude, click on 'Customize' and select 'Connectors' and 'Add custom connector'


  1. Type the URL: https://ppt.slidehub.io/api/mcp/slidehub and clicked 'Add' to add the custom connector.



Later on, it would be possible to directly add the SlideHub connector in Claude and ChatGPT's connector store for quicker installation.
  1. Click on 'Authorize' to grant permission to connect SlideHub with Claude.
  2. Click on the SlideHub connector and choose 'Always allow' for Tool permissions.

  1. You can then begin to search your company's approved content in Claude, and build new slides from what you find.



For ChatGPT


  1. Go to ChatGPT and naviagte to Settings


  1. Select Apps and choose 'Add more'


  1. Fill out the New App form as below and click on 'Create'


  1. Once the connector is ready, click on the plus sign in the prompt box, click on 'More' and select the SlideHub connector


  1. You can then begin to search your company's approved content in ChatGPT, and build new slides from what you find.
